Brazilian Cooking Class

Authentic Brazilian Food!

A chef prepares dishes in a kitchen, with plates of sliced meat topped with greens and garnishes on the table, along with drinks and utensils.

Brazilian cuisine is a vibrant blend of Indigenous, Portuguese, African, and immigrant influences, centered on fresh, hearty ingredients and communal dining: expect staples like feijoada (a black‑bean and meat stew served family‑style), rice and beans as everyday companions, grilled meats from churrascarias, coastal seafood dishes and stews, tropically flavored salads and fruit juices, and an array of street foods and snacks—pão de queijo (cheese bread), coxinha (savory croquette) and acarajé—each region adding its own spices, techniques and festive traditions that reflect local history and social life.
