Putting on a Carnival show in Rio is a months‑long, city‑wide production where creative directors, float builders, costume designers, seamstresses, choreographers, percussionists and technical crews work together to turn a theme into a moving spectacle—design meetings and sketching lead to enormous hand‑painted floats and embroidered costumes, intense bateria (drum section) rehearsals shape the rhythm, and countless run‑throughs and logistics planning (from timing to safety and stage access) bring everything into sync; our backstage experience, inspired by Carnaval Experience, gives you a rare insider’s view of those workshops, rehearsals and artist interactions so you can see firsthand the skill, detail and teamwork behind each parade.

What to Expect

Enjoy an exclusive behind the scenes experience of Rio’s Carnival. On this tour, we want to introduce you to the universe of Rio’s samba schools, taking you behind the scenes of the spectacle’s creation and sharing the history of the birth of samba and the Carioca Carnival.
